What you will do:
Support the “Go to Market” sales teams to develop DevOps solutions for client proposals and new business opportunities
Leverage the IBM Cloud Garage method to deliver exceptional software and applications
Provide thought leadership and technical expertise to demonstrate IBM DevOps capabilities and best practices to clients
Assess gaps in the client’s toolchain and recommend suitable alternatives and develop a DevOps roadmap to meet the business requirements
Provide high-level and detail architectural design artifacts to convey how the solution solves the client business requirements and articulate the value/benefits
Promote the Agile and Design Thinking in client workshops and throughout DevOps engagement.
Architect and lead proof of concept to demonstrate the value/differentiation of IBM’s solution
Execute and deliver the end to end DevOps solution in the client’s environment
Analyze the software Deployment & Release requirements for projects; portfolio or account and design the deployment / release management strategy using the necessary IBM and non-IBM software tools

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 3-5 years of experience as a technical expert in client facing roles
At least 3 years of experience developing solution architectures and implementations
At least 2 years of experience with leading DevOps tools and ability to make recommendations to clients
At least 2 years of experience with Chef, Ansible, or Puppet
At least 2 years of experience with Docker / Kubernetes
Knowledgeable of the Agile Methodology and Design Thinking
Solid understanding of SDLC · Solid experience with application architecture/development for web and mobile applications
Experience with cloud application development using micro services
Skills and experience with DevOps design principles and best practices
Skills and experience with many cloud platforms, including IBM Cloud, AWS, and Azure ·
Ability to articulate the merits of using various IBM’s pipeline tools (such as UrbanCode) relative to other market tools
Preferred Tech and Prof Experience
Knowledge/experience with UrbanCode Deploy, UrbanCode Release and plug-ins
Knowledge/experience with CI/CD Monitoring tools, Splunk, ELK
Experience with Bluemix is a plus
Knowledgeable of IBM Cloud Garage Method is an added advantage
Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment
Client Engagements and Implementation are added advantage
Collaboration tools, JIRA, Confluence, Slack, etc.
